The girls maintained their place at the top of the Somerset Girls League with a comfortable win versus Pen Mill of Yeovil.
4 Goals in both halves meant that Berrow won the game 8-0, with some impressive performance throughout the team. But it was Lois Pole who took the Player of the Match Award this week, after dominating the midfield with some impressive solo work that ultimately lead to a few of the goals. It was great to see a few players scoring this week, showing that the team and individuals are constantly improving.
Goal scorers: Holly x3, Halle x2, Tilly, Poppy and an own goal rounded off a great day for the girls.

Red Road has become a real fortress for the girls this season, winning 8 out 8 games at home. Next up, a tough trip to Swiss Valley who have beaten and drawn with the 2nd & 3rd place teams in the past fortnight.
